Volunteering at our Preschool or Koori Preschool is an important way to be part of our community. If you are just visiting to take part in an event with your own child you won’t be a regular volunteer, so speak with the front office team if you have any questions.
Regular volunteers in early childhood education settings, including ACT preschools and Koori Preschools, must meet child safety requirements under the National Quality Framework.
This includes:
- Holding a current Working with Vulnerable People registration and card, without conditions;
- Completing mandatory Child Protection Training;
- Completing mandatory Child Safety Training;
- Ensuring required information about each individual volunteer is entered into the National Early Childhood Worker Register.
