Parents and Citizens Association
Parents and Citizens Association - is a forum for parents to express their views on the School. It is also very active in raising funds to buy equipment for the school and organises social functions such as Art shows, fetes, pie drives etc. The quality of programs provided for the children is enhanced by the efforts of the P & C. Dates for P & C meetings are in the fortnightly Newsletter.
Parent Assistance
We pride ourselves on being a community school and actively encourage parents to participate in many activities. If you are available to help in the classrooms we would be very happy to arrange times when you could assist.
Canteen News
The school canteen offers Special Lunches at various times throughout each school term. Information about these Special Lunches are advertised in the school's newsletter.
School Uniform
All children at Richardson Primary School are expected to wear the school uniform or dress in the school colours.
The School Board believes the wearing of uniform helps create a sense of belonging, pride in the school and a stronger school spirit.
Children will only be eligible to attend school excursions or outside events if they are wearing the uniform or the school colours. This is to ensure the safety of our students. Any children who are unable to participate in these activities for the above reasons will be provided with a sound alternative educational program for the duration of the event.
Parents who give permission for children to attend excursions or activities where they will be representing the school, do so knowing that the appropriate dress is a condition of attendance.
Lost Property
Unclaimed belongings are kept outside the Canteen and may be checked at any time. Items remaining at the end of the school term are donated to charity.
